CLN Group celebrates “Earth Day” through various local initiatives and an ongoing awareness campaign on environmental and sustainability related issues involving employees and collaborators.
These are just a few of the many activities being carried out throughout our Group.
In Poland, MA Tychy plant has decided this year to focus on protecting birds and insects. Employees, together with their children, will build houses for birds and insects. These houses will then be put up in the forest, in the garden or on a clearing. The most beautiful house will be awarded a prize.
In MA Automotive Portugal plant, employees organized an operation to collect waste from nearby beaches. This activity will be carried out in cooperation with the local authorities and is also part of the Great Global Cleanup campaign https://www.earthday.org/campaign/cleanup/
In Italy, in MA Chivasso plant drinking water dispensers will be installed with the aim to reduce the use of plastic. In MA Atessa plant on Sunday 28th of April employees and their families will take part in cleaning activities in the municipality of Archi. On the 30th of April, employees of MA Melfi plant will donate seeds and medicinal plants to the students of the Rapolla Institute, which will then be planted.
