MWSA participated in Wheelchair Wednesday on 26th October 2022. This is an initiative of the Association for the Physically Disabled of Nelson Mandela Bay.
MWSA donated a wheelchair in support of this campaign. This project has resulted in 1400 wheelchairs being donated to needy persons with disabilities over the past 10 years.
HR personnel spent 67 minutes in a wheelchair at the Bluewater Bay Superspar completing various tasks while either seated in the wheelchair or blindfolded.
The project slogan says it all: “Spend 67 minutes in a wheelchair and change a life”.
