The investment project aimed at creating a new industrial establishment in the municipality of Valença, through the requalification of an existing building in the Valença Industrial Zone, which has a gross construction area of 17,191 m2. The project was implemented by MAAP - MA Automotive Portugal, S.A. (MAAP) and allowed the company to start manufacturing and supplying structural metal components for automobiles, aligned with the latest trends in the sector, particularly the trends of vehicle weight reduction and electrification of mobility. For the production of these components, MAAP invested in the most innovative production technologies, including cold roll forming technology and robotic welding cells.
The project was completed in October 2021, achieving a 100% execution rate.
