Heritage Day in South Africa is celebrated on the 24th of September each year.
Heritage Day was first declared a public holiday in South Africa in 1996 and, since then, it’s a day that encourages South Africans to celebrate the nation's cultural traditions, communities and above all heritage. It plays an important role in promoting cultural diversity, social cohesion, reconciliation, peace and economic development.
This year MA Automotive Tool & Die encouraged its employees to dress up in traditional dress and launched a competition fuel the participation. They put up banners in their 4 plants (2 in Rosslyn, 2 in Berlin) and took pictures of the participants.
