In 2021, CLN Group established an award in memory of Amulio Cipriani, dedicated to Master’s and PhD theses with the aim of encouraging academic research focused on advancing sustainability in the steel industry.
The 2025 edition marks the third year of this award. This year’s recipients are a group of young researchers from the Politecnico di Milano, part of the team led by Professor Carlo Mapelli.
To those who had the pleasure of knowing him, Amulio Cipriani is remembered as a person who combined great professionalism with sincere kindness. He had a unique ability to create lasting friendships grounded in respect, trust, and a zest for life.

The award ceremony will take place on May 7th at 11:00 a.m. at Booth S31, Hall 22, within the ArcelorMittal CLN Distribuzione Italia stand at Made in Steel, Fiera Milano Rho.
