In January 2023 CLN has formalised a new CLN Group Code of Ethics. The principle aim of the redrafted Code is to ensure it aligns with customer requirements and general trends in the market. To get this alignment, the Code of Ethics 2023 has been based on the previous (2016) Code, individual customer requirements, the United Nations Global Compact and the Paris Agreement on Climate Change together with the results of recent third party CSR and Sustainability assessments. The new Code also incorporates feedback from several important stakeholders.
The Code will be rolled out to the regions, including approval by local Boards where appropriate, in the next months.
