On the occasion of 25 November, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, the Atessa 1 plant organised an event to reflect, raise awareness and act together on an issue that affects not only women, but the whole of society.
Unfortunately, gender-based violence is a widespread reality that manifests itself in many forms: physical, psychological, economic and social. Alarming data remind us of the commitment each of us still needs to make to build a more equal and safer world.
As a company, we have a responsibility not only to be an inclusive and respectful workplace, but also to foster a culture that rejects all forms of violence and discrimination. This commitment is expressed through small and large daily gestures: respecting others, raising awareness and supporting those in need.
There is no place for violence in this company. We are a community that believes in the equality, dignity and safety of all people. We must always reflect on our role, as individuals and as a group, in the fight against this scourge.
Finally, a thought was dedicated to women who have suffered violence. Our support goes to them and we are committed to doing more to make them feel heard, welcomed and protected.
